okey dokey

Just posted this on Facebook too but couldn’t resist.  She’s a little parrot….repeating EVERYTHING I say all day long.

I should probably be using this time to teach her some useful English…but this is way more fun 😉

“okey dokey artichokey”

That’s gonna come in use at some point, right?

nic - totally useful! we say it about thirty thousand times per day at our place. 😀 (much to my chagrin, i can’t get the video to load but that’s probably on my end–my internetness has been sketchy at best this week. i’ll keep trying…i really can’t bear missing out on her cuteness!!)

Kristen - When Haley was 2, I taught her poetic meter: specificallly, Iambic Pentameter. Of course she thought I said, “I am a panda bear,” but it was close. Best video ever.:)

Joy L. - I once had a Spanish speaking student (4 year old) who repeated every word I said all year long. We got used to hearing him sing one measure behind on songs. At the end of the year he was fluent in English. Maybe this is how Helina learns!
